Floral water/hydrosol from marigold has been shown to be an effective free radical scavenger. The present work was aimed to perform extraction and phytochemical screening of the marigold extract. Results revealed that the extract was rich in terpenoid, flavonoids, quinones, and phenol. The phytochemicals could be utilised for health benefit properties.
